- Chief Minister inaugurates state-of-the-art 100-bed Vedanta Cares Field Hospital at Nava Raipur Atal Nagar

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the newly constructed Vedanta Cares Field Hospital by Anil Agarwal Foundation near Balco Medical Center in Sector-36 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar in a program organized at his residence office here today. This 100-bedded air-conditioned hospital has 90-beds with oxygen and 10-bed ventilator facilities.
Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Vinod Verma and Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu were also present on the occasion. Along with this, Mr. Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Group also joined through video conferencing.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that at present, it is necessary to get vaccinated and follow Covid appropriate behavior to prevent global pandemic corona. The beginning of this state-of-the-art and well-equipped hospital here in Nava Raipur will further strengthen our fight against Covid-19. This will benefit not only the people of urban areas of the capital but also the surrounding rural areas. He said that the country is currently grappling with the global pandemic corona crisis. In such a situation, the state-of-the-art Covid Field Hospital has been built by Balco ensuring its participation in the war against Corona, it is a commendable work.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that since the start of Covid-19, Chhattisgarh has fought this disaster vigorously. Corona infection has been controlled very soon with efficient strategy and social support. Today, the rate of infection in Chhattisgarh has come down to 4.8 percent. The number of new patients is decreasing daily. Our hospitals now have enough beds for every Covid patient to suit their needs. Medical infrastructure is constantly being strengthened by the government, social institutions and industrial groups in the state.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that in view of the continuous improvement in the present conditions in the state, the government has decided to give a lot of relaxation in the lockdown, so that we can all gradually return to our normal life. We have to remember that the Corona crisis is not yet over. The benefit of the lock-down relaxation has to be taken with great care. Social distancing, sanitization, and masks are not to be left out under any circumstances. Vaccination is being administered rapidly in Chhattisgarh. Everyone must get vaccinated when it is their turn. Our awareness of Covid appropriate behavior and vaccination can save us from corona. On this occasion, Chairman of the Vedanta Group, Mr. Anil Agarwal gave a welcome address at the beginning of the program and appreciated the efforts being made for the control of corona in Chhattisgarh under the guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel.
