Rudrai dam is situated in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh , It is constructed over the mahanadi river and is one of the most attractive picnic spot.One of the most popular destinations, Rudri was believed to be the capital of Kanker Kingdom during the reign of Rudra Dev. Located on the banks of River Mahanadi is its prime tourist attraction, Rudreshwar Temple. There is also a large reservoir built nearby.
